■ RunPlash Location-Based Service Terms Last updated: July 2026 Article 1 (Purpose) These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of RunPlash ("Company") and users in connection with the location-based services (GPS-based running records, course territory capture, siege battles, etc.) provided by the Company. Article 2 (Service Content) The Company collects users' GPS location data to provide the following services: ① Recording running routes and measuring distance, pace, and elevation ② Registering course-based territories (Zones) and conducting siege battles ③ Displaying territories on the map and providing nearby course information Article 3 (Collection of Personal Location Data) ① The Company collects GPS location data from the moment a user starts a run until the run ends. ② Location data collection begins when the user explicitly starts (START) a run and stops when the run ends. ③ To accurately record an in-progress run, location data may continue to be collected while the app is in the background (e.g., screen off); in this case, the device's operating system separately indicates that location is in use (e.g., iOS status bar indicator). Article 4 (Use or Provision of Personal Location Data) ① The Company uses collected personal location data only for the following purposes: 1. Creating and storing running records (distance/time/pace/elevation) 2. Registering, defending, and adjudicating sieges of course territories (Zones) 3. Verification to prevent fraudulent use (e.g., GPS spoofing) ② The Company does not provide personal location data to third parties without the user's prior consent, except in the following cases: 1. Where the user has given prior consent 2. Where required by law, or requested by an investigative agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes ③ Users belonging to the same crew (team) are shown only the shape (polygon) of a territory and statistical information (distance/record), not the raw route coordinates. Article 5 (Retention Period and Destruction of Personal Location Data) ① Personal location data is retained until the purpose of providing the Service is achieved. ② When a user deletes their account, location route data (GPS coordinates) is destroyed immediately. ③ Route data registered to a territory (Zone) is retained until the territory is captured by another user (ownership transferred), the user deletes it, or the account is deleted. Article 6 (User Rights) ① Users may withdraw consent to the collection, use, or provision of personal location data at any time, by turning off location permission in device settings. ② Withdrawing consent may limit the use of location-based features such as running records and territory registration. ③ Users may request access to or notification of records of the use/provision of their personal location data, and may raise objections with the Company if they believe such data was used or provided in violation of the Personal Information Protection Act. Article 7 (Rights of Legal Guardians) Children under the age of 14 may not use the Service; accordingly, the Company does not collect personal location data from children under 14. Article 8 (Damages) If a user suffers damage due to the Company's intentional or negligent violation of location information laws, the user may claim damages from the Company.
